What is Pack 6?

Pack 6 belongs to the Hightower Trail District of the Atlanta Area Council, part of Scouting America, alongside Scout Troop 18 and Scout Troop 29. About 100 Cub Scouts are in the Pack, split by grade into Dens:

We are a family Pack. Boys, girls, and their families are all welcome at Pack events. Most of our families live near Fernbank Elementary in DeKalb County, though Scouts come from across the area.

Our History

Pack 6 has been chartered without a break since 1935, more than ninety years. Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, on the Emory University campus, sponsored the Pack for most of that time and still hosts us: we meet at the Youth Activities Building and the Scout Hut, which share a site on the Glenn campus. Since 2023 the charter has been held by T18/P6 4Ever Inc., the nonprofit Pack 6 shares with Troop 18. The Troop is older still, chartered in 1925.
